Order reason for line item wise

Hi Gurus

We have a scenario where we need to give reason for returns (order reason) for each line item while processing returns order. But in the standard screen, we got an option only to give order reason for the entire document, not for line item wise. Please let me know if there is any way to give order reason for each line item in returns order.

Hi Siddhu,

In Sales order, at item level, you can define a custom field in Additional data A or B fields and you can enter the reason code there. Maintain Reason code and description in one custom table.

So the user can pick only the valid reason as described in the custom table and also, you can print the reasons in outputs also.

Hope this will help you in :

1. Maintaining order reson at item level

2. Extracting this fields into reports

3. Extracting this field into output forms

4. Also you can setup authorization rules, stating that only these users are eleigible to create sales orders with these reasons (if you want)

Hi Sidhu,

            The standard sap system does not have Reason Item level,instead you can better go for Text Determination at Item Level.

In the return order,

Click on your item Meterial

GO to Item -- SAles A

In the bottom : Reason for rejection

Assign as per the item wise rejections

If I give reason for rejection, I wont be able to process the sales order to delivery.

Hi

If you give reason for rejection then system will not allow to create delivery.

Also on initial sales screen big tab is available REASON FOR REJECTION.

You can reject at header level also and individual item level also.
