BRBACKUP terminated with errors

Hi Experts,

I am Unable to schedule the whole db online backup on our production server.I have paste the logs below can any one help.?

Can any tell me what shouls be done to perform backup...??

Note: we are using arcserve CA as the backup tool.

BR0072I Please delete file R:\ORACLE\PR1\sapbackup\.lock.brb

When a backup run is terminated abnormally then a lock file can be left. This prevents starting another backup, so you have to delete it manually.

do we need to delete this entry from db13.

No, just remove the lock file, and retry. If it fails again and you cannot fix it yourself then post the error.

hi

Check at OS level any process is running on Brbackup ,if any process is running kill that process and start the backup again.

And check any BG Job is in active for backup.

HI

Try to execute BRbackup from OS level,if it success then their may be problem  with init<SID>.SAP ,

once you check the file and confirm that all parameters are set correctly.
