Hi,

We have to perform patch upgrade from 10.2.0.4 to 10.2.0.5 on the following SAP servers:

ECC 6.0 on Unix

PI 7.0 on Unix

I have obtained the downloads from service market place. Can some one provide the pre-requisites before this patch application. It wouldbe helpful if any one has got the step-by-step documentation created for the same.

Dear Bijoy,

All steps and prerequisites are mentioned in the corresponding README file, which can be located on marketplace in the same folder where you found the patch.

Upgrading the Database to 11.2 is strongly recommended as 10.2 is out os support now.

Hi Biyoj,

You can find the detailed information on the readme file, in the patch.

I strongly recommend that you upgrade to Oracle 11G instead of 10.2.0.5, because of it is in the extended maintenance.

Note 1654734 - Ext Support contract required for 10.2.0.5 PSU, SBP & Client
