i know that process chain is basically a background job but i need to know exactly what is process chain and why we use it on support project thanks

Hi Ganesh,

Process chains are some sequence of processes that are run in the background after a particular event

is triggered.We give start time and end condition for these processes to run.

These processe chains help us in scheduling daily background jobs/processes so help us in scheduling the complex schedules in SCM.
