DEFINE THE BOM TYPE (AND DATE) ASSOCIATED TO THE PP ORDER

Hi,

I needed to understand how the system , by means of customizing, manages the use of the BOM on a production Order. The following points , in particular , are the focus of my analysis:

- Bom type selection in customizing

- Bom validity date criteria (eg. in case I have two BOM on the same material , which one will be taken? the newest ? if yes is it possible to set the date selection criteria related to the BOM?)

Validity of the multiple alternative BOMs can be managed in the transaction - OPPP.
