MI 7.3 ABAP with Sybase Unwired Platform workspace doesn't work ?

Hi

We have MI 7.3 ABAP system along with a SUP server

We were trying to develop Mobile objects in Sybase Unwired Platform workspace

In the connection profile when we use the ABAP instance details the ping happens sucessfully

but in the browse tab of the Unwired workspace we could not get the bapi with error could not retrive data from the backend

checked the traces the SUP work space uses Jco connector to connect to the system

my question if there is no Java Stack in the MI 7.3 system is there any other way for connection

or

To use Unwired Platform it is necssary to have MI 7.3 JAVA installed too

Could someone please shed light into this ... Cheers

Hi,

I'm not sure why you think that you need a Java stack when SUP SDK uses JCo to connect to your MI system. SUP is Eclipse is Java, uses JCo to connect to BAPI.
