Updating planned date with actual date when the activity is confirmed

Hello All,

I want system to automatically update the basic dates for the activity when actual start date is updated in the system (i.e. when activity confirmation if done).

How can we set this up in the system?

Hi Jatinder,

                  Have you checked the "Adjust basic dates" check box (IMG-SPRO) in control parameters for WBS scheduling.Try it once.

Also, In OPU6 transaction press F1 in the fields adjust dates and read the help document, which explains in detail.Check the path:

IMG-PS-Dates-Date planning  in WBS - Define parameters for WBS scheduling.

Here also choose the scheduling method as Network determines dates

I think by selecting the option Automatic Scheduling, the dates are automatically updated when ever you carry out any changes in the dates and save, means no need to carry the scheduling again.

Check it and revert.
