Account assignment issue in PR

Hi,

I have created one project structure with WBS, Networks and activities. One of the activity is 'External' and a PR was automatically created (from within the project) from it when I saved the project.

The issue is that, the account assignment in the PR is coming as 'F' (Order). I was expecting the account assignment to be 'N' (Network).

Can anybody tell me what is wrong here?

Hi Sumit,

              Check in T-Code OPTT , there the settings have been maintained as if they are giving account assignment 'F' in your case. Replacing Account. Assign. gen. by  'N' may resolve you issue.

Check in a testing client on you own and then check the results.

Hi Sumit,

In addition to Ankur's reply, acc cat F & N are similar from config perspective. Discuss this with your MM consultant. Network is a PS order, so you can re-think before changing OPTT.

Hi Srikant,

can N & F both account assignment categories  keep in tcode OPTT together OR only one of them either N or F have to kept in optt tcode.
