Wrong Excise duty calculation in MIRO

Hello Forum,

The excise duty was captured as 12% (Amount X) at the time of GR in Part 2 entry. But when i am trying to post the IV for the same in MIRO, the system proposes half excise duty (Amount X/2) in the simulation. Please suggest why is this happening and how can i correct it?

Check whether 'tax code' is changed in the PO after goods receipt.

There were no changes made to the Tax code in the PO after the Goods Receipt.

Check the following,

1) Condition record validity in FV13

2) Part 2 accounting entries. User might have changed the excise duty amounts during MIGO.

3) Changes in the PO after GR for item price.

Hello Shailesh,

There were no changes made to po price before or after the GR. Ihave checked the part 2 postings and the amount is correct i.e. the full value of the basic excise duty.
