Afaria 7 Problem

Hy Guy's

Please could someone help me, i have a curios Problem.

I have install a new Afaria 7 Server the installation is complete an all services are up.

But if i try to open the Afaria Admin Webpage i become the Error:

I Also Tried to install the Self Service Portal and there i become the error that the API server 127.0.0.1:7982 is not reachable.

But the API Service is Running!

I didn't Understand this, please! somebody help me.

Hi Michael,

We do have exactly the same issue like you! Did you managed it so it is working again?

We think there is an issue where a portnumber is overwritten or something like that. We changed it already a couple of times, but is not the way it should working (ofcourse! ).

Hopefully you have the time to react!

I could not say what the problem was, but now the installation is working.

We downloadet the installation Package again, and choose a new Database for installation after finish we restored the old one.

No Problem,

I know how depressing the troubleshoot could be for Afaria

Maybe after the installation you should check first the installation of afaria 7 without sp1 and the new database...

First, Thanks for your Answere.

But i have restarted the server more than one time's, I also reinstalled the API Service and all the other Services.Every Service is working with the afaria Service Account except the Afaria Client Service, this Service become an loggon error if i try to run this service with the service Account.

. If i install Afaria 6.6 wits FP1 everything works fine.

I think there are some troubles with the API Service or?

This is not my first Afaria 7 installation so i could understand the Problem.

I hope we found the solution

I have now deleted and reinstalled the complete installatio, and the same error occured.

know somebody the solution? Ist there maybe something with the asp.net ?

still did not resolved the problem.

now we only have the following error on the webpage: "Application Error_2"
