SAP Solution Manager Configuration: System Preparation

Hi,

I recently upgraded my SSM to version 7.1 SP01 and I'm now running the initial steps of the "SAP Solution Manager Configuration: System Preparation".

On step number two I found an error on the "Check Software Prerequisites" phase:

"ST-A/PI 01N_700SOL is not installed"

But I already have 01P_700 installed, which is newer.

Do I have to (somehow) downgrade the ST-A/PI component on my SSM?

Or can I safely ignore this error message on the "System Preparation"?

Try to check Note 1745227 - Troubleshooting the Landscape API in SolMan 7.1

the note seems to address the same issue I have:

"4. Missing/Not installed Software Component Version (SCV):

- Check first if it's not a cache issue in chapter 'Missing Technical System elements'.

- Open the Landscape Browser (see 'How to open the Landscape Browser')"

But now I cannot open transaction "SM_LSC_BROWSER" (the browser window opens but nothing is being shown).

I'll try to update the SSM to the latest available stack (SPS 06) to see if it fix this..

thanks to Ravi for pointing out the thread with the answer to the problem...

The implementation of note 1710170 - SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics Software Prerequisites solved the problem!
