Conversion of planned order to Process order with date in past in SAP APO

Hi,

There is planned order with start and finish date in past in APO. I marked conversion indicator to planned order in APO to trigger process order conversion. Now process order start and end date are same as that of the planned order. I.e. Process order dates are in Past.

In ECC config for scheduling parameters for order type order is not allowed to schdule in past still when conversion is triggered from APO process order  is scheduled in past.

Is this Standarad SAP Behaviour? Is there any SAP material which gives more infomation about this

Is there any way to Avoid this.

Dear,

Yes right as per standard SAP dates are always determine from the APO. Better do the forward scheduling of planned order in DS board and then convert it to Process/production order.

Or convert order in ECC but which is not recommended for more details please refer OSS note 304510.
