Sending failure mails to support people

Hi Folks,

I am working on Proxy to sFTP interface.Interface is successfully working.

when ever sap send data to pi,if the data is wrong or any Mapping error or connectivity issues ,need to send mail to support people..

I checked in scn about alerts..can any one send me the step by step process for sending mails to particular to this interface.

Is there any possibility to send mails particular this interface..

help needed guys..

Thanks for the replies..

Now i am able to get alert mails...i added some of the container variables

I am not able to get mails for CC errors...only moni errors i am getting...for this anything need to add here...?

Hi kalyan,

You need to add ALERT Category  which covers Adapter engine errors in ALRTCATDEF.Please go through below post it helps you

Hi,

you have to configure the alert rule (Where did the error occur?) to "no restriction".

Or setup another alert category and another rule with "Adapter Engine".

Hi tried with this two for CC errors

SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_TYPE CHAR 70

SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT CHAR 70

But nt able to get alerts..:-(
