Quality Notification -Reason Code need to be Mandatory

Hi,

The current requirement is while notification is being created,The Reason Code of the Notification need to be Mandatory

Have checked the standard Screen Templates this field is not available..requesting you to please let me know what would be the procedure for meeting the requirement

Are you talking about defect codes in notifications? Refer this path

1. QCC0 > Quality notification > notification creation  > Notification type > Define screen templates > double click on Field Selection: General Screens
2. Search for field VIQMFE-FECOD under field name column
3. Click on Req radio button
4. Save
5. Run QM01 again and check whether defect code field is mandatory or not

Accordingly you can explore many fields there!

Hi,

Its the ReasonCode...I have made the changes which was given above..but it did not worked

The Field which need to be mandatory is VIQMEL-QMGRP for notification type F2

QCC0 > Quality Notifications > Notification Creation > Notification Type > Define Screen Templates >

Field Selection: General Screens > double click 'Coding' (VIQMEL-QMGRP) >

click 'Notification type', then select 'New values...' button > input 'F2' & select 'Required'

Dear,

If QCC0 setting not working, you have to do enhancement as per my problem, i did long text field mandatory just below code group field.

for that please consult your abaper to do enhancement in program SAPLIQS0 

include - LIQS0F50

FORM - SEND_TEXT_TO_OCX_F50

and modify the screen before PBO.
