upgrade from MySAP ERP 2004 ( ECC5) to SAP ERP 6 ECC6

Dear all ,

we want to upgrade ( technical) from MySAP ERP 2004 (ECC5 ) on { IBM POWER5 , DB2 , AS400 V5R4 } to SAP ERP 6 (ECC6) on { POWER 7 IBM i V6R1}

so please i want to know  a brief points a bout :

1- upgrade steps

2- required software to be downloaded  from SAP marcket place

3- do i have to install ECC6 on POWER 7 ( new server ) and then make a client copy to it or what ?   please i want to the guidelines only .

4- the rule of the solution manager
