How system determines whether to pick 641 or 647+101 in STO

Hi Experts,

How system determines that it has to pick one step (647+101 in a single material document) or two step (641 in first materiald doc and 101 to be created separately in another material doc) while creating delivery for STO. Where is the customization for this....

I checked that in both the delivery docs, Item category is same (NLN) and hence same schedule line category (NN) with options of noth movement types in its control data.

Hi Vikas,

            The control will be at Schedule Line Level,please check the movement type at the schedule line level.

I got the answer. This is carried out from customizing:

"Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance"
