All,
We are using a FERT material with variant configuration for the last 5 years. Many sales orders were created with variant pricing and object dependencies.
User has accidentally removed "Material is configurable" check box from Basic data 2 of the material master in production system. I am not sure how the system allowed them to remove this check box when objects ( Sales orders, configuration profile, classification etc.,) exists for this material.
Now the system is not allowing us to turn that check box 'on' because of these objects. We are unable to create sales orders because of missing check box.
Has anyone experienced similar issue? How did you address it?
Thanks in advance
Venkat Jammi
Hello Venkat,
That is very strange, you should check how the flag was removed in the first place ? In standard it is not allowed so it seems someone removed the flag on the database level. As for setting it back you will need to remove the documnets that has configuration set.
Regards
Amber

Hi Dear,
Cancel all the subsequent documents and again activate the "Material is configurable"check at materail master then repeat the sales process.
