Release Billing Milestone without confirming the Activity

Is there any possibility to release milestone assigned to any activity without confirming the corresponding activity?

Hi Jatinder,

I assume release milestone means confirmation. You can confirm the milestone without confirming activity - Just enter actual date in milestone manually.

Hi Jatinder,

I agree with Shrikant. When you give actual date it acts as actual confirmation or release overwriting other parameters and actual milestone stone date triggers. There is no clearly defined release or confirmation at Milestone level. Coming to your point like whether we can do the release/confirmation(I presume-Actual Date) of Milestone without confirming the activity...its possible we can do it.

Sorry, but there is no such option of releasing the billing mileston without confirming the activity. You can go into the sales order and manually remove the billing block in order to do the billing. While doing this check the effect on the activity (whether any confirmation status is set or not).
