Alert generation for Failed XML Messages in SAP SNC

Hi,

I am trying to create ALERT for Failed XML messages (failed ASN) in SAP SNC. I came to know that we can use Alert Monitor Functionality in SAP SNC for the automation.

Please reply, if anybody has implemented such solution.

Hi Rahul,

There is standard SAP alert.

Alert type 7033 "Exception in Validation of ASN" .

To activate the this alert type follow below path:

SPRO>>Supply Network Collaboration>>Exceptions>>Alert Type Activation>>Activate Alert Types

Enter the alert type=7033

Hi Rahul,

Nikhil is right on spot.. Just to add a bit of flavor ,  Though Alert is effective to rack things, Its real benefit is when you look @ the alert every day and religiously  acknowledge and clear it in general.

For 7033, from a support point of view, look at the File Transfer upload log for the upload profile.

If you decide to use Alerts , please make sure you set up the Alerthouse clear program job run the clean up your alerts too. I ran into Alerts pile up in one of my Client engagement.
