Dear All,

i'm experiencing a problem importing patch SAPKB73101 on NW 7.31 on windows and oracle 11i.

This support packages seems hanging in the phase IMPORT_PROPER.

Just as additional info:

RDDIMPDP is correctly scheduled

Nothing is shown as error in tp system log

tp.exe is running

R3trans.exe is running

but the logs are not update and no errors is shown even on the oracle side.

we have applied since the beginning the latest kernel (now the release is 300).

Any suggestion regarding this problem?

Thanks all,

We have also resolved the same issue by Oracle patches on oracle 11.2.0.3 and Netweaver 7.4 in Windows 2008 R2.

Thanks once again.

Hi all.

Yes, definitely that is the solution. I had the same problem in Windows 2008 cluster environment and worked.

Thanks.

- Go to STMS_IMPORT and see if transports are imported.

- See if background job RDDIMPDP is scheduled, running or finished.  Make sure this job is running correctly in Client 000 under DDIC.

- Are you using the latest Kernel for your support pack stack.

- Go to the OS level, in under Task Manager see if tp.exe is running.

Hello Ravi, thanks for your kind reply.

However all the suggestion given have been already applied. This particular situation seems to be faced only in junction with Oracle 11.  Now I'm retrying with the latest dw.sar tp.SAR a r3Trans.sar

Any further  suggestion?

Try using the latest tp, R3trans and also the ORA dll files.  Make sure that you don't have anything stuck in the Gateway.

Please import the transport request for the support package manually.
