warning message when creating PO in ECC refer to Central Contract

Dear SAP gurus,

We are in SRM 7.01 with ECC 6.05. We are in classic deployement and using central contract management. The scenario is to have contract negotiated in SRM, having it distributed to ECC, where we can utilize this contract both in ECC and SRM.

We able to distribute the contract from SRM to ECC using XI/PI. However when we create PO against this Contract, we notice one warning message saying that "SRM Price Calculation Customizing not maintained" it give information that the message issued by the synchronous eSOA service "PROXY PURCHASE_ORDER_SRMPRICING_SIMU". However if I ignore the warning and create the PO anyway. I notice that the PO update the release value of the contract.

So why is this message is triggered? Can anyone enlight me on this?

Hi,

I was getting the same error .There are some webservice that you need to configure in order to send the pricing data from ECC to SRM.

I have configured NoN PI Web services and used the below webservices

In ECC

PurchaseOrderSRMPricingSimulateQueryResponse_Out

In SRM

PurchaseOrderSRMPricingSimulateQueryResponse_in

But if you are using PI, then you might have to check the webservices for Pricing Simulation of Purchase order.

The warning you get is related to the synchronous pricing call from ecc to srm.

In SRM 7.0 & ECC EHP4, a new feature was introduced to allow synchronous pricing call from PR & PO in ECC to SRM.

This has the benefits of getting the most up to-date discounts from Central contracts in SRM. This is useful only in case you are using Release-based discounts in Central contracts and you have hierarchy based contracts.

In case you are not interested in the above feature, i believe you can turn this message off in ECC.

Hi,

As per SAP recommendation for central contract pricing procedure , please inform have you used same condition types in both systems ECC and SRM.

I hope if you have used same condition type then you wont get this error message.

If not you have to map condition types.
