How to copy a configuration with multiple values in characteristics?

Hi all,

I have one requirement.

How to copy a configuration with multiple values in characteristics using variant function?

We use variant function to copy a sales document line item configuration. During copying if the characteristics have multiple values, only single values are copied.

Request your help me to sort out this issue.

If you go to the sales item already configured, and go into Configuration (ala CU50) there is a menu option to "Save" (I don't think it's called exactly that)

Then go back to the sales order, add a new item (the same configurable material) and when it takes you to configuration, go to the same menu, and it will have an option to "copy" or "restore values" or something like that.

This will copy all characteristic values from the first sales item to the second

Hi Bill,

If you can add the precise menu path, it will be great. I tried it using the guide you provided, I couldnt retrieve what I save.
