Not able to import Universes in Universe Designer

Hi Everyone,

I am not able to import universes in the universe designer. While importing I get the following error:

"There is no universe file attached to the universe infoobject"

However this error I am getting is for existing universes. If I create & save a new universe it is working fine. Moreover I do not find any file path for the existing universes in the CMC.

I am using SAP BO XI 3.1.

Please suggest on this.

Hi Neeraj,

You are missing the .unv file corresponding to the universe. This will be steps to get the universe path in FRS.

If you have copy of the .unv file somewhere you can add it to the identified location above and try to import.

HI Mani,

I have the same issue with all my Universes in Xi 3.1 SP3 Suddenly.

For me, I do not have the  FILE name was empty

Windows Environment.

RDT did not help
