Errro while maintaning grants ledger

Hi:

There is a requirement from client to implement grantee management in order to track revenue and expenditures for its sponsored projects related Grants. As per SAP best practice i am trying to configure Grants management for Grantee, in very first step i am experiencing the following error in GCL2

Special Purpose Ledger is blocked for direct posting

Message no. GG185

Diagnosis

The menu item "Preparation" for system configuration has been set (Table T000C) such that direct posting is blocked.

Please guide how the above issue will be resolved.

There is a blocking indicator in GCL2 assigning company code to the ledger. Did you flag it as '1'?

Hi :

The error information message appears as soon as i execute t code GLC2 and it does not let me go inside GLC2. Please guide.

Try GCL3. Do you see ledger 90 with total table GMIT?

I believe in GCVO you did not set any indicator. Please at least set Local Ledgers indicator.
