Solved: Dispatcher doesnt start

Hi guys,

After a system copy when I try to start sap dispatcher start and stop because connot connect do message server:

R3trans -d:

C:\Users\qaladm>R3trans -d

This is R3trans version 6.13 (release 640 - 25.04.12 - 10:00:00 ).

2EETW169 no connect possible: "DBMS = MSSQL --- SERV

ER = 'oersapdev1' DBNAME = 'QAL'"

C  Using provider SQLOLEDB instead.
C  OpenOledbConnection : CoCreateInstance failed. rc: 8007007e.

Seems pretty evident that you need to check SAP Note 734034 - Native OLEDB provider SQLNCLI

Hi,

You need to perform op$ Mechanism before starting up the database as below.

if you use Tablespace PSAPDATUSR and not PSAPUSER1D you have to change that in the oradbusr.sql

vi oradbusr.sql

:%s/psapuser1d/psapdatusr/g

sqlplus "/ as sysdba"

drop table ops$<SRC>adm.sapuser;

drop user ops$<SRC>adm cascade;

drop user ops$ora<SRC> cascade;

alter database rename global_name to <SID>;

alter user system identified by <password>

alter user sys identified by <password>

exit

sqlplus /nolog @oradbusr.sql $dbs_ora_schema UNIX <SID> x

sqlplus "/ as sysdba"

grant dba to ops$<sid>adm;

After performing the above steps start SAP.

Hi,

Do you have you database on a separate server?

R3Trans return code says SAP is unable to connect to Database.

Please check if your database is running fine.

Also, the trace has network timeout messages,this could be a network issue if the database is running fine please try rebooting the server and then try starting SAP.

Please check if the SAP note below helps you:

Note 551915 - R/3 won't start after database restore or database copy

Make sure the kernel level are same on both Source System and Target System. And if source is Non-unicode then Target should be same.
