Hi experts,

  I don't understand note 1578639.

1. My SAP_BASIS is 70211 so I have already installed the fix.

2. I need to execute SE38: SWNC_CONFIG_URL -> change configuration -> URL

without header part, correct?

3. I have followed item 1-6 and item 7 is different from my system, so I

have to remove

009 Transaction Profile 19 21

010 WEB Statistics 14 21

011 URL with handle 21 25

012 URL without handle 24 25

and add

009 Transaction Profile 18 21

010 WEB Statistics 13 21

011 URL with handle 19 25

012 URL without handle 20 25

right?

  Sorry, I still don't get it. The note just mentions a correction: SWNC_CONFIG_URL and how to use it. But how about the misalighment in my 'Text symbols'.

  Most importantly, how do I fix this shortdumps? Am I right in the first post? Is it the right correction to fix the bug?

You need to apply this note via SNOTE transaction..

Solution

This correction implements a program called SWNC_CONFIG_URL for  configuring the statistics collector. The statistics collector is also  adjusted accordingly. A corrected version is delivered with SAP_BASIS Release 7.10.
Implement the SWNC_CONFIG_URL report from the correction instructions  and then execute the report. You can display and change the current configuration. Any changes to the configuration are effective immediately. The next time you start the statistics collector, the URL is handled in accordance with the configuration
