I have searched "SAP" (PAM, notes, etc) and "SCN" and haven't found the answer to this; please notify me if it is and close this thread.
Where can I find information about SAP and MS-Office versions forward looking? For example, Office 365 seems to be out there, but I haven't found it referenced yet in SAP land.
I am working with others to develope a coherent integrated strategy for our UI area and want to see a picture beyond today, somewhere between now and 5 years from now.
Thanks in advance for guidance/assistance/answers.
Best Regards, Wallace
Hello Wallace,
the core note for office compatibility is below:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/722513
Office 365 is not listed.
The best course of action in your case is to refer to
https://service.sap.com/influence
and submit a request.
Kind regards,
Jude

Hello,
I am looking forward to the coming future, as I review these notes:
Note 1442028 - SAP GUI for Windows: No support for Office 2010 64bit is Office 2010, and there is this PowerPoint which indicates a Sapgui 730 is coming later this year, into 2013 that will be 64 bit application and support Office 2010 64 bit: Slide 14: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/d06db80d-ebf4-2a10-6b99-faa652c69...
Note 1452849 - MS Word in SAPscript: Using MS Word 2010 is Word 2007/2010
Note 1623752 - WordContainer: Release for MS Office Word 2010 is Word 2010
Note 722513 - Desktop Office Integration: Maintenance information references through Office 2010
For example, I haven’t found any reference to Office 365, yet when I look at the IE area, I see information about IE9(out now) and beyond.
Best Regards,
Wallace
