Text Search functionality

Dear All,

I checked the information provided in IMG Customizing -> Document Management -> General Data -> Settings for Storage systems -> Create MIME Types for Full-Text Search for 'Text Search' functionality in DMS.

But, when I use CV04N, I get the below error when I enter a text (without spaces in btw words) under 'Documents / Texts' tab from the Checked-In document (i.e., Original file) and Execute. Error:

No document found with these selection parameters

Message no. 26082

Please guide me if there is any additional setting need to be done in order to be able to successfully use the 'Text Search' functionality.

Hi,

please check the information at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/09/8c9138fa8be50fe10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm

because it might be that currently no index is created for the DMS documents.

Further you can test the fulltext search in transaction SKPR07 as well.
