Hello,
I have the listener started as sidadm, I have no idea how this happened, and I want to start it as orasid user.
If I do stop/start of the listener, can this be done online ? withot affecting the DB and SAP ?
Thanks for suggestions,
J.
You can stop the listener and start it again online with SAP and database running . Listener is used to create new connections , once the workprocess establishes a 1:1 connection with an Oracle server process , then the listener has no more role to play . Only if a new connection creation is required in the meantime, then it will fail.
