Solution Manager 7.1 / EWA - where to configure the email addresses

Hello,

I have a question concerning the configuration of automatic email sending of the EWA- Reports to different email-recepients.

in several threads here I've read that this could be configured via SOLMAN_WORKCENTER -> System Monitoring -> Setup -> Configure Automatic Reports Mailing

BUT - I can't find this Menu in my Solman_Workcenter seems not to be there... I just can choose between: System Monitoring, EarlyWatch Alert Configuration, Connectivity Monitoring, IT Performance Reporting, Service Level Reporting, Solutions

What I also read was using Transaction DSWP...  (what I did now)

If I browse there to my solution I can add email-recepients via "Edit -> Automatic Email Transmission"

Is this the right way to do it ?  Or what would be the right way to do it ?

Hi Christian,

yes, enter the recepient address in solution,

other way you can try by view dswp_sys_email.

there were interesting discussion on this already

Hi,

try this,

1. solman_workcenter

2. system monitoring workcenter

3. Setup

4. System monitoring

  under this, configuring automatic email generation

5. select your solution

6. Next popup create email recipent

7. in the session field select the session for

"early watch alert" or early watch alert for solution

Hi Jansi,

i can't find the topic "configuring automatic email generation" in my solman.

I tried the "old way and it still works: just using the transaction DSWP -> go to the solution i want my EWA for -> EDIT (top-menu) -> "Automatic Email Transmission"

Here you can add several Email Addresses and choose which typ of EWA you want to send around for each email recepient.

HI Christian

Please follow the below steps to activate for the EWA email notification

Run SE38 and program Name:RDSMOP_REPORTS_BY_EMAIL

presss execute

select Soluiton using under dropdown button

press execute again

click "Create E-mail Receipient"

session Name:SAP EarlyWatch Alert

Report Type:EarlyWatch Alert Report (Standard)

E-mail address:

Make sure that you need to activate SCOT and SCOT periodic jobs.
