Can SPP 4.5 be installed as a 1-server environment

Hi Guys,

The uPerform 4.5 installation guide recommends a 3-server environment to install uPerform. It also provides info about installing in a 2-server environment.

Do you think uPerform can be installed in 1 server (i.e. all on one host) i.e the DB server, the app server and the search server - can all of them be installed in 1 host ?

I dont see any recommendation from SAP around this but i want to know if this can be done.

Hi Hari,

Ancile recommends to have at least two server installation for uPerform.
If it is possible, three server scenario would be better.

Installation on one server normally is only for test use. The server might not be stable when the load is higher.

For best performance, use a dedicated server for the database server.
The RWD uPerform database server has been tested using the following minimum requirements with all software installed locally:
· 2 GB RAM; 4 GB RAM recommended.
· 30 GB of available disk space; 100 GB of available HD space recommended for large projects.
