Changing message type

Hi,

We have recently implemented project delivery and want to change message type of CN752 to error. This message is triggered when the requirement qty is changed to a quantity less than the delivered quantity. So, this cannot be an information message (which it is now).

I tried OPJB but it doesn't work. Could someone please suggest what else can be done here ?

Check the tcodes OBA5 or OBMSG. When accessing OBMSG keep in mind that any modifications would be cross client. You will get a pop up informing abt this.

I checked both OBA5 and OBMSG but I can't add new entries to either of the transactions.

Thanks for your reply. I doubt the version, I just copied an existing message (that had application area CN) and changed the message number. Should I be verifying the version ?

1. Message must be maintained as variable message in OVAH. Check this.

2. Please share message appearing in OPJB.

Hi,

I'm able to add the message to OPJB as error but the message type is still information.
