Is there a IDES version of SAP solution manager 7.0 or 7.1?

Hi experts,

   I want to try performance warehouse in DBA Cockpit. Although we have a solution manager 7.0 installed, it is always troublesome to configure performance warehouse. Also, I try to install solution 7.0 and 7.1 in a sandbox but it takes so much time to implement support package stack, configure the SMSY, DSMP, SOLMAN_SETUP, SOLMAN_WORKCENTER...etc and *TROBUESHOOTING*.

  Is there a ready to use solution manager DVD or even a cloud environment provided by SAP so I can start and check out the functions and features in very short time?

Hi,

As far as i know, there's no ides for solman 7.1 nor solman. 

You can refer to Note 799639 - IDES - General Information about the usage of IDES systems or link -> http:service.sap.com/swcat -> SAP IDES to check the available of ides.

The main reason why SAP doesn't have a IDES version of Solution Manager is because good part of the functions/checks/configurations are made in realtime and a real live managed system is necessary to perform tests and configuration, for this reason it doesn't make sense a IDES version of Solution Manager,
