Setting SUS on SRM 7.02

Hi Gurus,

I'm looking for some information about configuring SUS in SRM 7 EhP 2. I found the documentation about installaSRMtion of SUS in Master Guide of SAP and some documents from SRM's Gurus about scenarios and uses of SUS in SRM but I don't find any info about configuration of SUS.

Please, could you address me to this info?

Hi RBEI,

My customer needs to:

• Registering Suppliers
• Maintaining Supplier Data
• Qualifying Suppliers
• Evaluating Suppliers Based on Events
• Managing the Supplier Portfolio

Customer wants to manage procurement for indirect materials in SRM and it is not yet clear if use Classic Scenario o Extended Classic Scenario.

Hi,

You can see the configuration document from SAP for above all your business requirement.

Please check  also the Note 1580107 this note for solution manager content.

As I checked the configuration document from SAP of SRM 7.0 EHP 2 has all your business requirement like Supplier qualification , Supplier evaluation and etc.

For your requirement I would suggest, look for documents like Supplier Qualification & Supplier Evaluation as well. Those will guide you to the remaining processes.

After which you will get better idea about which technical scenario to choose.

It's very much possible to use SUS with Self Service Procurement.

You just need to follow SUS related steps from given document. & setup self service procurement in SRM.

You should look for document named Plan Driven Procurement for SRM 7.0 EHP 2.

It will guide you to configure SUS.

Is it not possible to use SUS with self-service procurement?

Due to the fact that customer needs to manage MRO material, not MRP is being managed for these materials.
