Automatic Check-in the original for Word file not working

Hello Everyone

   For MS Office files like word, excel  am facing issue that automatic checkin is not working though am checking "Check in" attribute in DC10.

   For these files we defined workstation application path as   %AUTO% .  

   Is error because of this?

  And

  What is the best way to  define workstation application path as I need Desktop Office Integration, instead of opening the Original File in the SAP Window.

  %AUTO%  or

  %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.OUTPLACE%

Go to Spro and in Cross application component, Open DMS,

Chekc your Document type WRD and in its sub screen check whether the Check in -Original Indicator is Active or Not.

Hi

That check is active. Issue is When i  am checked out and edit the original, and after editing without checkin again if i save the document, auto-checkin is not working. The original is still in checked out status and DIR is saving.

Hi,

once u Check in ur Document and again check out for some updation then u need to re check in again manually.
