i am creating excise invoice with tcode J1IIN against sales invoice billing document. and i am getting error "Customization for series group S2 missing in table Series Groups".  Message no. 8I303

Details for S2 and E2 are already maintained in "Maintian Default Excise and series Group for your Sale area" and also in "Maintian series group" and CIN details are also maintained for customer. and i also maintained the excise transaction type DLFC for the combination of corresponding G/L Account.

But still i am unable to create excise invoice with this error? is there any other settings or is anything requires??? how can this problem be reolve??

exc reg was assigned wrong in maintain series group.

I presume, you would not have searched the forum before posting as this has been discussed many times.  Check few such threads

i have cheked all the post related to this error and found all setting are maintained and updated.

but still problem persist.
