SUP Development Tools

Hi Experts,

We are planning to deploy SUP in systems landscape and I was trying to understand some things about the subject:

• Apart from the server installation, do we need to deploy desktop client tools in our users workstations? What I am trying to understand is if there is a need to install desktop client tools for both end-users and developers.

Why should you have to install SUP SDK on the end-user desktop? SUP is for mobile applications, that means RIM, Android, WM, iOS, in case you are not going to develop an app that is using the exceptional Windows 7 client case.

The developer will need the SDK installed, the end user needs a mobile device
