Customer material in CMIR

Hi Gurus,

In CMIR, the business is entering the customer material number and it is getting changed to Upper case all the times. It is not retaining the value customer entered.

For eg:  Business Entered:   ABCdef       It got changed to ABCDEF.

How can we avoid this and retain the value that user entered?

Get help from an ABAPer. Use SE80 and in program SAPMV10A, screen 200, for field MV10A-KDMAT, in special attributes tab, check the box Upper Case/Lower Case. Again I have not done this, so get help from an ABAP'er for correct method. Just provide the program name, screen name and field name, he will take care of it.
