an Idoc-segment field getting Incorrect numeric value through PI mapping

Hi SapAll.

here i have got a requirement where in a XML File to IDOC Interface,iam getting the value of one particular Segment field 'FEE_VAT_EX'  as '.00000000000000.000' (two decimals points  in between the zeros)where as the respective Source xml file field value is '00000000000000.00 ' (only one decimal point) .

the Interesting thing here is when i check with the same payload in PI-Message mapping,iam getting the display queue of both the source and target fields values as '

'00000000000000.00 '. but when i check the same in the IDOC the value differs.

could any body help me in inding the solution for this.

Hi Seeta,

Please check:

1) data definition for FEE_VAT_EX is the SAP R/3 system and make sure it has the right decimal definition.

2) delete the IDoc meta data from IDX2 in SAP PI

Run the interface again and see if the data comes in right.
