Hello!
When I try maintain or create Jco Destination in Web Dynpro Content Administrator I get the following Exception page:
java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.String.equals(java.lang.Object) of an object returned from com.sap.lcr.api.sapmodel.SAP_JCODestination.getUserHandling()
When I click "Check SLD Connection" -> Test Connection it says:
Connection to System Landsape Directory (SLD) was successfully tested. |
So where is the Problem?
I also tried to restart the server, but with no success.
Thanks for your help and regards
Solved by myself. It was a simple missing mapping in the user manager.

In the SLD, find your JCO Message Server Destination for your Java AS.
My SLD is 7.1 at this time.
Administration,Maintenance,CIM Instances
Subset: Classes With Instances
Class: JCO Message Server Destination
Filter: <my hostname> Go
Highlight each entry.
The last property is UserHandling.
I had this field blank and got the same error as above.
I changed this to useSSO and save, for each entry.
and the error no longer appears.
Hi Kevin,
We are facing same issue. Can you please elaborate where we need to map user.
