Dear Geeks,
I have recently installed an IDES Version of SRM 5 central system, I activated ITS and logged in Via BBPSTART, I could see that the initial screen is perfect, but when I click Shop in the Home screen the application doesn't launches, instead the R3 SAP Easy Access Screen is show.
and when ever I login to SRM via BBPSTART service, I could see a message at the screen
SSO not enabled and HTTPS switch cannot happen.
the link is ...//ecc6:8004/....
My Computer name is "ecc6"
I have maintained Profile Parameters icm/host_name_full as "ecc6"
I have also maintained Profile Parameters SAPLOCALHOST and SAPLOCALHOSTFULL as "ecc6"
Kindly guide me through this issue.
Best Regards,
Bharat
Hi Bharat,
Can you attach a screenshot of the message: "SSO...."?
Is port 8004? the HTTP or HTTPS port number?
See that all of the correct entries are in the table TWPURLSVR
for the service BBPSTART in your system. The above issue could be result of
missing data in the system table TWPURLSVR .
You can find more information about this in the SRM-Help under
Application Services -> Roles -> Single Roles in Enterprise Buyer
or in the following link:

Hi Bharat,
This is a standard screen if HTTPS and SSO is not setup on the Web AS. The URL you are calling is http://...
What are the 'GUI Configuration' settings of the service 'bbpstart' in SICF?
Am interested in understanding why it's calling the WEBGUI service and NOT calling SRM services.
Regards,
Oisin
Hi Bharat,
To remove the warning:
In Sicf -> service -> BBPSTART ->
Under System Logon Configuration:
1. Change the protocol from 'Logon via HTTPS' to 'Do not Switch' (this step I believe you have done)
2. Check 'Do not display Warnings' under Protocol.
Does bbpstart - correctly launch now? After you login - what screen is displayed?
Regards,
Oisin
