In EWM, I have created and assigned a external TU number(container C1) to an OBD on Day1. Loading and GI has got completed. The departure from checkpoint has completed for the TU. Again the same TU(C1) was used for another OBD on Day5.
I created the TU and searched the TU(C1) in the /scwm/tu screen. The internal TU number generated by SAP, was same as created in Day1 and Day5. Due to this the OBD assignment is giving error.
Please help to resolve.
Hi Karthik,
Please check the assignment of your OBD with any other TU if it is already exist.
From the screenshot, I can see you are refering to two different TU
MH05AQ297
MH05AQ547
from srikanths statement, system is always check for internal TU number if external TU number is same.
Thanks,
Sandip

Dear Sandip,
I have checked, the OBD has not been assigned to any other TU. From your mail and srikanth, one thing is clear that the Internal TU number will repeat based on the same external TU number.
But can this be circumvented through configurations or any SAP note available to handle this.
Thanks,
Karthik
Hi Karthik,
When you try to assign same External number for different OBD other day, first it will search internally whether TU exist or not and it will not create internal number if TU exists.
Instead it create unique S&R activity number for each iteration.
What is the error your getting..?
Thanks,
Srikanth.A
