SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCE Short Dump: EXPORT_TOO_MUCH_DATA

Hi experts,

  I can't find the latest performance data in ST03 and I find

SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCE caused short dump: EXPORT_TOO_MUCH_DATA

everyday. Is it because I increased the retention of workload collector

parameters in ST03? Please see attachment.

No latest SAP workload data(from 8/21 to 8/28)

SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCE is canceled

hi Dennis,

Please check and follow the instruction of below SAP notes.

Note 713211 - Poor performance of database collector and DB02

Note 1278913 (also check Related Note)

If you still get issue then You need to reorganize the SAP Standard jobs and you can with this note.

Note 16083 - Standard jobs, reorganization jobs

nice to knw that issue is resolved.

would you share that SAP Note with scn users which is used to resolve the issue.

mean did you applied the Note 16083 or issue is resolved without this note

Hi Abdul,

  I read the note 713211 and I found the symptom is the same as I encountered. I believe reduce the retention period can solve my problem.

  However, I expect I can hold a lot of workload data online to manage performance and show SLA to management/business. So I create a customer message to SAP and hope there is a better solution.
