What business transaction can or cannot be done if a user status has no workflow management defined?

Hi, PS experts:

If a user status has no workflow management define, what business transaction can or cannot be done under the given status? I tried couple of things like locking master data and changing basic dates to a WBSE with REIS status. REIS has no business transactions defined for Influence/next action for a user status profile. Both transactions went OK. Does it mean it behaves the same for a business transaction whether it is only checked for permitted or it is not defined at all in the status profile configuration?

Thanks,

Jenny

If you have defined a User Status and you want to restrict a particular business transaction you need to set the radio button "Forbidden" for the particular User Status.

If you just define a User Status and use it in the project it will allow all the business transactions. This is standard SAP. The system would behave the same way if you allow the business trasaction or do not set any radio button.

Hope the explanation makes sense.
