Asset Purchase is Actual value or inventory value

In standard SAP Report S__ALR_87013558I actual value are included
actual value with value type 4  and statistical actual value with
value type 11.

For a particular case i had created  Purchase Order by using the
account assignment category P, Q and A.

In case of P actual posting done with value type 4 and in case  of Q
it is 11. which is ok as per business.

But in case of PO for asset with a statistical wbs assigned, it post
purchaseing cost as Value type 11 which should be 4, since asset purchase is directly comsume once goods recived.

since business want to see the Inventory value and actual value
seperate through report CJI3, we found that for P and Q account assignment it is ok but for A it is not ok as it is showing with value type 11.

pls suggest.

I guess this is how the system works, since you are assigning a statistical WBS to a PO. Statistical costs do not have any effect on the financial books.

Check with your business if they are clear with their requirement. Ask them how they want the Asset Purchase to reflect in the system.

Dear Gokul,

As per business requirement, they want to see the Asset purchase as actual,

currently it is showing as inventory value after the settlement also.
