Hi folks,
After system copy , I am facing the following issue when I try to import profiles via rz10:
Could not be read. The import is therefore not possible.
The files are in the OS directory /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile and I also tried to create a new profile and it didn't work as well.
Another point that I noticed is that the internal RFC connections aren't working, such as : <hostname>_<SID>_00. The error is:
RFC error when sending logon data.
Please, please, help me out!

Hi Marillia
I think its not a migration, if it is then migration key needs to be given during system copy.
If it is a normal system copy then you need to perform post system copy activities.
run t-code se06 and input your details accordingly.
Note: This will delete your TMS configuration and will ask you to configure again.
If it is a production system then check with your Management before doing anything.
Best of Luck

Khalid,
This secure store migration can be done post system copy activites and allows one to re-activate his RFC destinations post SID change. Nothing to do with OS/DB migration..
If you don't want secstore migration you can delete the concerned entries in SECSTORE transaction and make the RFC destinations work again.

hi, Marillia
are you running the system copy from a sap netweaver 04?
you should implement manually the sap note that suggest Ravi 816861 yo

You need to migrate entries with SECSTORE on your refreshed system. Take a look at SAP Note 816861
1.) Go to Service Marketplace and generate a Migration Key. You get a key instantly.
2.) Go to Tcode SECSTORE and click on System Data Changed tab.
3.) Enter Old System Name (source system), Old Installation Number (from Step 1) and Release Key (from Step 1).
4.) Execute and everything should go Green.
Now try RFCs and configure STMS.

Hi Marillia,
Sorry for the mistake I didn't tell you the correct sap note.
You should implement the following sap note Note 1532825 - Deleting SECSTORE entries during system export/system copy
You cannot use SNOTE because as you realize all the internal/external RFC are not working.
In order to implement the note you need to copy the source code valid for your release 640 and copy into a new report from se37. If your sap user doesn't have development key you must order it before.
In a nutshell: Copy the corrections
620 | 640 | SAP_BASIS | 19.01.2011 08:03:09 |
Implement the corrections manually, after that you can run the report S_TT_CLEANUP_SECSTORE to delete the secstorage.
Then you will be able to load the instance profiles from application server.
Cheers
