Solution Manager Mobile Integration

Hi All,

I have a scenario where I need to connect my android based System Monitoring app with our Solution Manager system. I know i need to install Netweave Gateway to integrate solman with mobile. But the issue is our solman system is in the company network not on internet. How do I access this system over internet using Netweaver Gateway? Have any of you tried integrating Solution Manager sp05 with mobile? inputs appreciated.

The app works with SP06 of SAP Solution Manager.

Thank you for your valauble inputs.

: I completely agree with you on this. The customer expectation from a Solution Manager consultant has increased nowadays due to all these innovations. I would love to try my luck with developing own applications but that seems very unrealistic for a ALM or solman consultant. What we can hope is in future SAP will come up with some 'readymade' solution to cater customer demands.

I just confirmed with SAP that the mobile (ipad/android) functionalities that we are currently looking for is available in SP06( which will be released in sometime in September).

hi,

as stated above, you need to develop your own, but there were some blogs stating this under roadmap

we are trying to build BO dashboard into mobile, for that we get connect to compay intranet with the webservice delivered by OS team youcan say kind of proxy details for connection.

Later we used sap explorer apps to installed in mobiles, after we build report, set display obtion as mobile.

If this fine, will slowly build apps to view the solman dashboard to mobile. nt started yet, i m waiting for the netweaver gateway option too
