Hi,
I got this question. i know this has been asked in the forum but i could not find one satisfactory answer.
The scenario is we bought material in our warehouse (excise depot).
due to some reason it got damaged so that we cannot sell it so we need to scrap it.
now how to put this in system?

Hi Guys,
I found out the way to do it.
First of all you need to write off the material using the movement type. This will create a material document.
Use this material document in J1IJ and there use the option material document instead of delivery.
Then you need to follow the same procedure like delivery.
This way all the entries are correct in the register as well as the actual stock.

Dear,
you can write off thru tcode MB1A & movement type is 551 to cost center.
Thanks,

Why dont you directly explain what answers were not satisfactory?
You probably get the same answers again, which is a waste of time for the community.

Hi Jurgen,
I have read the threads with this topic.
Some threads are saying to use J1IH/J1IS which are not applicable for depot registration.
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1780718
In one thread they said to use the vendor as customer and sell the material.
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1516307
In my case these two are not applicable. That is why i said not satisfactory.
