Calculating percentage of completion

Hi,

There is any way to calculate forecast percentage of completion in any project using dates of baseline project and current date?

Hi Camilo,

in cProjects there are two key figures as far as I recall:

• percent completion on "Dates and Work" tab of the task. That is a manual entry.
• percentage of work completed in the dashboard: see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ppm50/helpdata/en/49/6a2329beaa3e16e10000000a421138/frameset.htm; The exact formula should be: actual work / (actual work + remaining work)

Besides you can work with alerts and use arbitrary formulas there. See customizing: Project Management -> Evaluations. There is also a BAdi available there.

Hi Thorsten;

Can you make a calculation of percent completion (%) with the tasks of Project like Microsoft Project does?

I think that Camilo asks if its posible to do that?

I have the same question, maybe with an Enhancement. I don't know if Evaluations can be usefull, maybe an BCV report can help us.
