Object directory entry deleted but still exists! - inconsistency

Hello,

We have deleted Z-structure object directory entry - "R3TR TABL ZMYTABLE" by tr. SE11.

If we want to recreate this structure again SE11 says "ZMYTABLE is already defined as table type".

But if we try to display this table SE11 says that ZMYTABLE does not exist. Check Name".

What's the matter? How is it possible?

We checked TADIR table. This object does not exist there too. Where does the object stil exist? In what table?

Please help us.

If we want to recreate this structure again SE11 says "ZMYTABLE is already defined as table type".

So look via SE11 in "Data Type"  for a table type (R3TR TTYP)

NB: For your information (from Note 16466 - Customer name range for SAP objects)

Note on DataDictionary objects: Since release 4.0, data elements (R3TR DTEL), table types (R3TR TTYP), tables (R3TR TABL), views (R3TR VIEW), and pool/cluster names (R3TR SQLT) have been managed in one table.

Hello, Raymond,

thank you for the note. Really if I search R3TR TTYP for my object the system display it in searched list. But if i try to delete TTYP object the system says  that ZMYTABLE does not exist. Check Name".

Maybe exist another system table(other than TADIR) where the object entry is?

SO how to delete my object permanently?

Try to execute FM TR_OBJECT_JUMP_TO_TOOL with the values found in TADIR if it display an object (here a table type) delete it, if it raises an error delete it in object directory (try SE03 tool).

Remember that TTYP are internal table type so in SE11 put the name in "Data type" and check corresponding radio button and not in "table" first line.

Raymond
